A sub-committee of the BCA Board, the BCA Publicity committee is responsible
for the promotion of the BCA Board and BCA Board sponsored events, the BCA
Clubhouses and theirevents as well as overseeing the production of a monthly
newsletter, updating and administration of this website, mailing of our weekly
news and events e’zine, as well as our more recent pages on Facebook and Twitter.
Newsletter
The BCA Chronicle, is the official newsletter of the community association. The
publication is distributed free-of-charge and is packed full of articles, information,
promotions and advertisements of interest to expatriates. It is available early each
month (excluding January and August), from clubhouses and many, many other
widely spread distribution points. (For a full list of these please see the dedicated
Newsletter page). If you are a first-time visitor to Egypt or resident registering with
the British Embassy, you will be offered a copy by the consular staff.
New Media
In recent years the BCA Chronicle has been supplemented with our own website -
BCA Online, as well as the BCA e’zine, which is a regular weekly email that updates
all members as well as the wider English speaking expatriate community with BCA
Board and BCA clubhouse news as well as information on BCA events.
Even more recently a BCA Facebook and BCA Twitter page have recently been
added to our publicity vehicles and these already boast over 1,000 followers.
